After the great day we had yesterday my expectations were very high for today. Steve Tuttle, Joey Austin, and I went straight to the area that had been holding alot of trout. We threw the exact same soft plastics as the day before. The good news was that it was still holding a bunch of trout. The bad news was that they were mainly 14 to 14 1/2 inches. We must have caught 30 trout in the short time that we fished, but only managed one keeper. We also kept 8 or 10 big sand trout.

The wind and tides were different from what they were yesterday. The wind was east at 20 mph and the tide was running about an hour later than the day before. The water was much dirtier, but was beginning to clear up when we had to head in (around 10 AM). Had we been able to stay longer we would have started catching more keepers. The two other guides that stayed ended up catching 20 to 25 keeper trout.
