It's that time of year when I have to cancel one or two days per week due to cold fronts. Such was the case Wednesday and Thursday. That's the down side. The plus is that the fishing just gets better with every front and the trout seem to keep getting bigger and bigger.

Nov. 11th - Limits & More!
Chris Sizemore, Jimmy and Haley got in on a rare day when the wind wasn't howling and they made good on just about every bite. They had their limits of really solid trout in the box before noon then caught and released another 15 trout with 3 of them weighing over 5 lbs. Three big redfish rounded out their day. Limetreuse and Chicken-On-A-Chain Assassins along with Tidal Surge Maniac Mullets slammed 'em in 4 to 4.5 feet of water over scattered shell. Chris and his guys have spent a lot of hours on the water with me and every minute of it has been a blast.

Nov. 12th - Breezy, But Still Got 'Em!
Charles, Brian and Jess grinded it out in tough conditions, but they were rewarded with 26 trout, 3 reds and 3 nice flounder. Jess also caught and released a 6.25 lb. trout which was the first fish of the morning. Various colored Assassin Sea Shads and Tidal Surge Maniac Mullets fooled the fish today. I'm glad Charles gave me a second chance because our last trip (last February) was very tough when we fished in sub-par conditions for just a few fish.

Nov. 13th - Very Breezy & Pretty Darn Good!
Rod, Rick, Mark and John were true grinders today in conditions that were far from good. The wind cranked at around 20 mph (maybe more), but they found a way to trick some very nice fish. They kept 23 trout to 23 inches along with a red and a flounder. Mark also caught and released a 25 inch trout. The bites were few and far between and very soft for the most part. We lost at least a dozen trout along with a red and flounder or two. We were still very pleased with the results in those conditions. Skitterwalks, Tidal Surge Split-Tail Mullets, Bass Assassins and Tidal Surge Maniac Mullets caught them today while drifting bait concentrations and a few slicks in 4 to 7 feet of water.
