June 23rd through the 29th was a really good stretch for us. We averaged over 20 trout per day in that span not including throwbacks. We had a couple of days where we caught 40 plus keepers. The only slow days were on the 26th and 28th when the SW wind was gusting to 25 mph. We still managed to scrape up a few those days despite the conditions. Tidal Surge Split Tail Mullets and Bass Assassins rigged on 1/8 and 1/4 ounce lead heads are still the go-to baits for us. As usual, limetreuse and glow are working best for us. The pattern hasn't changed much as far as location. We're drifting and anchoring over shell in 6 to 9 feet of water. Slicks and bait concentrations are pointing the way.

Had to fish a totally different area from the day before because of wind, but Scott still found this solid trout that was willing to eat his limetreuse Assassin!
Buzzy, Scott & Eric put together a great catch for the conditions on June 24th!
Lance, Brian & Sal had a good day on June 25th.
Tough windy day for Charlie, Steve & Michael on June 26th.
June 27th - Fished the 13th Annual Pat Doyle charity tournament with 4 guys. Caught over 40 trout. We weighed in our top 5 which weighed just under 19 pounds. That was good enough for 5th, but 2 places out of the money. Just couldn't get that kicker trout!
June 28th - Kent, Brad & Steve had to go despite the conditions and we struggled with only a handful of trout in the box. It's hard to do anything in a 20 plus mph WSW wind.
Darren Hughes with his personal best trout (24 inches) on June 29th!
